Born in Provence, Alexis studied Art and Literature before moving to London to pursue a career in fashion.

Relocating to Paris in 2003 Alexis was appointed brand and celebrity consultant for Dior and Galliano, where he was responsible for coordination of the VIP image of the house through product placements and celebrity collaborations. During this time Alexis was involved in all aspects of the brand’s creative evolution, from concept to catwalk, in addition to the high profile advertising print and film campaigns that defined these brands.

Today, he is based in Paris and is a freelance fashion editor, as well as acting as Artistic Image Director for Maison Margiela.

His collaborations with photographers and directors include Nick Knight, Craig McDean, Paolo Roversi, Solve Sundsbo, Mario Testino, Tim Walker, Patrick Demarchelier, Steven Meisel, Steven Klein, Annie Leibovitz, David Sims, Peter Lindbergh… He has been published in Vogue Paris, The Telegraph, Industrie, Vanity Fair, V magazine, DUST and The Wall Street Journal. Some of his clients include Christian Dior, Longchamp, Maison Margiela and Lancome.
