Martyn Thompson is an Australian artist born in London. In photography, his mastery of natural light is a skill that has made him highly sought after for still life and product image making. However, his work has come to evolve including video, mixed media print and 3D installations.

Thompson has contributed to Architectural Digest, W, The New York Times Magazine and British Vogue and Vogue Living Australia. Commercially, he’s created acclaimed imagery for many of the world’s leading brands including Tiffany & Co., Gucci, Ralph Lauren, Hermès, Samsung and MAC cosmetics.

Now residing in New York, where he founded Martyn Thompson Studio. Which includes textile and wallpaper design, home wares, limited edition art, as well as art direction for editorial projects. In addition, Martyn Thompson Studio works with a number of companies as a creative consultant. Giving direction on the areas that help shape and define a brand’s visual identity: color, mood and tactility.
